"May I" Character List

As an author, I didn't realize how many characters I've made up in my story "May I". So here are a handful of occurring names, and what chapters they've appeared in. Take a look :) P.S. I'll most likely be updating this list every once in awhile as needed. 

Sneak Peek: May I "Ch 35"

Walking into the kitchen, he watched as she nursed a hot cup of tea and looked out the window—choosing to sit beside her at the table. He gave her a look as if he were saying: I’d rather that you stayed.

“It was a private conversation.” Gillian took another sip of tea, clearly knowing what he was thinking. Cal looked rather uncomfortable, although he was trying not to show it. Her thoughts went back to her conversation with Emily, and she couldn’t help notice that her thoughts were reflecting his own.

“The conversations between Zoe and me are anything but private anymore.”As she glanced back out the window, she could feel his eyes on her. “You should know that as well as anyone.”

In Lieu of a Blog Post

In lieu of a personal post (of which I haven't done in awhile), here are some things that I'm going to roll into one post--mostly because I don't feel well and haven't been for the last couple days. My concentration has seemingly diminished during this time.. excuse me.

Since I'll be a little tied up for the next couple days....and I left that last chapter on a cliffhanger. My bad :) But just so you know... I've been threatened to update or else :D This little sneak peek, doesn't give much--or tell why--but it's hopefully something to tie you along until after the New Year. 

Sneak Peek: May I "Ch 29"

I don't usually give sneak peeks . . . but since this chapter is taking longer than I thought to write . . . I thought it would be nice to give a little peek to what I could possibly be stirring up :)

A few minutes later, the doorbell rang again. This time, Corbin stood there with a bag and a pink blanket in hand. “You might need this.” Slipping the bag over her shoulder, he handed her the blanket. “Good luck.” And for a second time, he turned on his heels and disappeared.

“Thanks.” Closing the door, Sophie grabbed the blanket and tried to hold both the blanket and doll in her hand, but the blanket ended up falling to the ground. Hearing her grunt to pick it up, she toddled around with her hands full.
