Middle Of Me: Baby Talk

The second part of my Gilmore Girls story, "Middle of Me". If you're just coming in (or not familiar with the background of Jess/Rory), you should probably read Ode to Joy (Oneshot), Taking Chances (two parter), and of course, the first part of Middle Of Me.     

Middle of Me: Couch Potatoes

With his head resting against the pillow that was leaning up against the couch, Jess laid across the couch with Rory sleeping soundly beside him. Her body was meshed with his as her head rested in the nook of his shoulder.

The toffee colored couch had been the last thing they had unpacked in their new home. After spending half of the day moving in a few boxes, some opened and some that weren't were scattered among the light tan carpet.

Taking Chances: The Rest of Our Lives

"Kid, you know I couldn't be more proud of you." Lorelai offered after helping her daughter put on her wedding dress. Lorelai stood behind her daughter as they looked into the mirror. Rory smiled with a laugh, admiring her mother's work in the mirror. Her dress was more beautiful then something you would see being displayed at a wedding shop. And she was proud to know that her mother had offered a great sacrifice to make sure that it was the best one that she would ever see.

Rory's dark brown hair was curled up in a wonderful formation of soft curls and sweet smelling hold of flowers and lavender. "I can't believe. I'm really doing this." She turned towards her mother and smiled in thanks, before wrapping her hands around her mother in appreciation. "Thank you."

Taking Chances: Wedding Fever

This is the sequel to "Ode to Joy". This story has two chapters, so it's more of a two-shot. The next chapter is called "The Rest Of Your Life". 

Ode to Joy

I wrote this piece back in 2008, as a challenge piece that one of my friends gave me--back when were Gilmore fanatics. There are three separate pieces that go along with 'Ode to Joy', that you can be on the look out for, which are:  Taking Chances, Middle of Me, and Great Expectations.


Some of the three are just oneshots--some chapter stories. Great Expectations is the only one out of all four that has more chapters in it combined, and is still a work in progress to this day. Ode to Joy only has one chapter.
