Review Response: @TracyMilliron (LieBones)

So glad that Emily will be there with Gil for the funeral. I was hating the idea of Gil and Sophie doing this on their own. I can only imagine how frustrated Cal must be that he can't be there with them. Gil is just such a shell of her true self right now, I just want to hug the stuffing out of her. Can't wait to see what happens when Cal is able to leave the hospital, will she let him help her with Sophie? Will they finally startt to address their feelings for each other? Can't wait for another chapter, THANKS!

You're right... Gill is definitely a shell of her old self right now. She's stressed, and has too much to deal with at the moment. In regards to if both her and Cal will start addressing their feelings, it's possible that you'll see that start happening. They're at that point where they can't delay the inevitable, much longer (I wrote more on the Callian relationship here).

And because both are hurt and have all these feelings for another, there's going to be limits and frustrations for both of them. Cal has just had surgery for internal injuries and he's going to want to do everything, but can't. Gillian is a new mother--who is also dealing with PTSD in her own way (without much help) but is struggling; both internally and physically. Now more than ever, they're going to need each other.
