This is so great! I love that Jackie is falling apart and Kevin is here. What will she do at 11?! Pressed to the next!
Since twitter is kind of lame, with it's 140 character limit... I'll expand here on the good ol' blog.
Thanks! The pots and pan things kind of sparked up the whole chapter. It always seems to go a different way than what's been written already. At first, I had Kevin and Jackie literally just battling it out, yelling at each other-- then her calling over an insult that she was no longer hungry and that he would have to eat dinner alone. Which still kind of happens, but on a softer note.
She listens as he slams cabinets and clanks pans in the kitchen and then it all just came together, like some subtle hint that they were both falling apart, especially when she was just ripping those pots and pans out and letting them fall to the floor.
As you can tell: I love cliffhangers. So what will Jackie will be doing at eleven? Well, that will be revealed in Chapter Thirteen :)
